✅ A personalized rehabilitation plan to support you and your dog in the home and in public

✅ Coaching and support for you and your family

My philosophy:

My philosophy is rooted in compassion for both dogs and humans. I believe dogs are not broken, bad, or trying to embarrass us — they are communicating the best way they know how. Barking, lunging, freezing, pulling, or shutting down are often signs that a dog is overwhelmed and trying to create space, safety, or control in a situation that feels too big. Through compassion, education, and thoughtful exposure at the dog’s pace, we can rebuild trust and create a life that honours who the dog truly is.

I also believe humans are doing their best with the information and support they have. Living with a dog who struggles in the world can be stressful, exhausting, and sometimes lonely. This work is not about blame — it is about understanding what your dog is trying to say, supporting your own nervous system, and learning a gentler way forward together.

What is reactivity?

Reactivity is behaviour(s) evoked by physical pain or a strong emotional reaction such as fear and anger. These behaviours may seem exaggerated or startling. Common behaviours include:

  • Barking

  • Jumping

  • Lunging

  • Nipping

  • Growling

  • Baring teeth

  • Lip licking

  • Whining/crying

  • Cowering
